Daleville Va

They finally got to Daleville Va. after slackpacking from Catawba.

I got to talk with our Ruth for about two minutes tonight so I have only a little information. She said they just passed 714 miles now. I'd say thats a lot of miles for anybody to walk. She also mentioned that they were tired and hungry, so they picked an EconoLodge shelter house to rest and to rid themselves of that hungry feeling. Tomorrow, they will be back on the trail again. They are in good health, but just pooped out.

References

  • VA624-North Mountain Trail, VA, is 688.4 miles.
  • VA311-Catawba, VA, is 694.3 miles
  • US220-Daleville, VA, is 713.9 miles.
  • 5.9 miles from VA624 to VA311,
    19.6 miles from VA311 to US220
If they did that in one day, that's a huge 25.5 miler!
